My city was doing great until an earthquake destroyed four of my buildings and damaged six others. It breaks up the tedium of repetitive city construction with natural disasters that actually mean something. You can even do all three to maximize earning potential! Virtually all of the game’s 100-plus buildings offer this type of micromanagement. Want that plantation to increase its output for the glory of Tropico? Try hiring a manager, upgrading it with a researched technology, or throwing money at it via the budget system. El Presidente can bend buildings to his every whim. It has a million new building and customization options for players. The storyline is decent, but it’s the thousands of ways to get from point A to point B in each of Tropico 5’s four historical eras that will keep players interested. However, Tropico 5 does have something different to show. These interfaces have remained unchanged for the better part of two decades for a reason, and to change them now would cause an unnecessary shock to the game’s core fan base. The resource-gathering, building, research, trade and diplomacy screens are pretty much identical to those found in every other simulator. Balloon tours sucks, but it gives the island a lot of color, and I like that.Tropico 5 sticks to the rules of city-building simulators. The meals blimp, and balloon tours adds a very nice aesthetic to the island that I've started to just spam them. I find them very sketchy, besides the meals Blimp. I was using drone taxis, and spamming them, but a lot of them just get stuck. That thing basically runs the whole economy.

That thing eats materials! I tried doing 4 drone factories with that workmode, but I got overwhelmed with how much I had to feed it, and micromanage it. Lately I've been using the 2 new industries a lot, and can tell you that using 2 drone factories with the all Type drones workmode makes a Shit ton of money.

I played the game very slow, instead of using X4 speed. It wasn't too bad, but initially I did feel overwhelmed. I was dreading to complete it, because of how many delivery service drones you'll have to use. I've done all of the missions, and just finished that mission you're talking about a day ago. I had mixed feelings about carribbean skies. I'm pretty sure your teamsters did all the work as they tend to find their way across the island pretty easily. Makes me doubt they will work on oil or mines. Which is why I made the video to show how terrible it really is. That's a total of 21 workers or almost 2 teamster offices which are more then capable of finishing the job. While the output was still way above 3000. I did a separate test a while back where I had 7 DDS deliver cloth to docks within local range, and they barely manage to do 2000 cloth for every dock visit. The only buildings where they seemed effective was with buildings that weren't producing much in the first place. This was all local, and they struggled to even be viable. They just don't seem viable at all for industries. Who knows if it's a visual bug (I doubt). A lot of my drone taxis get stuck in areas.
